Bitmap Images

Bitmap is a graphical representation of the image containing an array of points that are stored in computer memory. The value of each point preceded by a single bit of data for black and white images, or more for color images.

Bitmap images are formed from tiny pixels that form the point and become visible very clearly set point when the image is enlarged. Bitmap image quality depends on the density of pixels contained in the image, the more points that make up the image, the more sharper the resulting image, and vice versa
